History:

The 18 hole championship golf course was the first design from
Jack Nicklaus on mainland Europe. According to own statement he
took great pleasure creating the course in this beautiful environment.
Jack used three criteria when designing the course.

"First golf should be much more a game of the precision than
the power.  Secondly a player is rewarded, who uses his head
before his muscles.  Thirdly the original landscape should
not be destroyed and merely accommodate the
playing facility.”
